Today our students got a visit from the Sonoma County Firefighters to talk to us about fire safety. They also showed us the fire truck and observed us as we conducted a fire drill! It was so nice to have our local heroes come to pay us a visit and teach us about keeping our families safe!
Don't forget to have a plan!!!! How will you get out? Where will you meet? One of the biggest take-aways from this time was to keep your bedroom doors closed at night. They told us that this will significantly slow the fire down and that if an emergency happens, the adults can open the door to get the child.
We also practiced the "Stop, Drop & Roll"!
