Bodega Bay Elementary School, a small school in the Shoreline Unified School District, is located on a knoll overlooking the bay and the Pacific Ocean. The school serves forty students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. Serving the student population are two experienced teachers and an array of committed support personnel, community volunteers and imaginative programs.
Both teachers are Marin County Golden Bell Teacher Award recipients recognized for their teaching excellence, innovation, creativity and dedication to making every day count for every child. The school was also the only Marin County School to receive a rating of "Honorable Mention" in the competition for California Distinguished School in 2004.
